Welcome to the king of El Salvador, the Pupusa! For those who may not know, pupusas are one of El Salvador's oldest and most traditional dishes. Pupusas are best described as a stuffed corn tortilla that can be eaten alone or paired with its ancestral partners, curtido (Salvadoran coleslaw) and/or Salvadoran tomato salsa. We at Salvatex Foods have the great honor of showing why the Pupusa has stood the test of time and is adored throughout Central America; thanks to many of our recipes that have been perfected since our days as a small restaurant back in 1995!
